TOTEM-MAKER [GLOG Class]

This is a work in progress. This class will change. There will be 7 total templates for this class, but I need to get the core down before my brain melts or I become too frustrated to continue.

You gain the Harmony [HRMN] stat. Roll as you would for other stats. You speak the language of wood, stone, or adobe, depending on the tools you have. You have a new Name; your old Name is a secret.

Starting Equipment: the tools of your respective clan [woodcarver's, stonecutter's, or potter's], the garb of your clan, 3d6 offerings [flesh, plant, or stone pieces roughly thumb-sized]

1 | Totem-Creator

You can create a totem from wood, stone, or adobe which functions as a home for spells. A totem is roughly man-sized and takes one day to create. A totem you create is soul-linked to you, as is any spell which resides therein. You can invite one spell to live within your totem by giving the proper offering. While the spell is in your totem, and you are within 30 x [SOUL] feet of your totem, you may cast the spell [HRMN] times. Any further attempts to cast the spell require an additional offering. A rest refreshes this.
If your totem is moved or you fail to give the proper offering, the spell flees.
If you create another totem, the first is no longer soul-linked to you. The spell flees.
If your totem is destroyed while a spell is within it, you suffer the effects of the spell as though an enemy had cast it and you cannot create another totem for [SOUL] days.

You must create a satisfactory totem of a different material to advance.

2 | Totem-Artificer

You can create a totem from an additional material (wood, stone, or adobe). Your totem can house an additional spell. Your artist's tools function as weapons in your hands.

You know how to beautify your totems. Beautifying a totem takes an additional day. A beautified totem allows you to cast a spell [SOUL] additional times before another offering is needed. Spells will stay within a beautified totem if it is moved.

You must successfully invite a spell into your totem with only your words
to advance.

3 | Totem-Speaker

You may create a second totem. You speak the language of all materials with which you can create totems as well as the language of spells. You can communicate with spells within your totem. While in earshot of the spells within your totem, you can cast them.

You must destroy your totem and successfully invite a spell into one of its pieces
to advance.

4 | Totem-Master

Your totems may be as small as a hand-sized piece of wood, stone, or adobe, and you may have [SOUL] such pieces with a spell in it. You may cast spells from these pieces [HRMN] times, after which the spell flees the piece. If you are in mortal danger, you may use an action to call out for help. A nearby spell may hear and assist you.
