The Weapons of Our Warfare

There are three materials which are effective against the demons of chaos.

The 1st | Metal

Ore is the gift of Miglah, god of the earth. Fire is the gift of Asmesh, goddess of the sun. Metal is the product of Miglah's gift, Asmesh's passion, and man's order. Metal is the greatest of the weapons to fight chaos due to its versatility. There is no type of demon (or creature) which it is not effective against.

We use metal to forge our sharpest blades, that we may sever their limbs and collapse their forms. We separate them piece by piece that they may suffer the destruction of their forms and be sent back to those primordial torrents and whirlwinds from which they came.

The 2nd | Glass

Glass is chaos given order by the blessing of the fires of Asmesh. We take the sands which assail us and melt them into forms of their undoing. Glass weapons may damage water-demons and threats of flesh and blood, but they are superior over all other materials against sand-demons.

We use glass to forge sharp, fragile weapons which pierce, slash, and shatter within the demons and contaminate their unity. The glass blades separate; the glass shards eviscerate. The sand-demons collapse under our slashing and shattering weapons - their forms are separated and their bodies are overladen with foreign material.

The 3rd | Light

Asmesh and her daughter Yarayahk have blessed us with the ability to channel light as though it were water. Like an irrigation channel directs the river, so our light-channels direct the light of the torch. These mechanisms direct and concentrate the light of the torch into a beam of light which burns and pierces the night and the demons which spawn from it.

While these weapons are useless against water-demons, sand-demons, or threats of flesh and blood, against the night-demons there is no greater weapon. The light of Asmesh and Yarayahk guides us and protects us through our light-channels and we praise them by destroying the chaos of the night.
