Narcifish [Creature]
Narcifish
Many a person has washed their face in a river or pond; many a person has enjoyed a drink thereof as well. Few have ever met narcifish, but those who have become completely insufferable to be around.
Narcifish, also known as "fish of vanity" are a school of iridescent fish, moving and shifting like a prism of rainbow within the water. Those who catch glimpse of the school are lulled into the water until the fish surround them. At this moment, the victim is cursed with vanity. The victim's entire world now revolves around them - they think only of themselves, talk only of themselves, act only for themselves. They will always seek a reflection and linger long over mirrors. Any who speak against their self-absorption will feel their wrath; those do not praise them will feel their annoyance and resentment.
This curse of vanity is only broken when taken to the water from which they emerged cursed. They will naturally seek their own reflection in the water; you must keep them from this from dusk to dawn. Only when the sun rises in the morning, and their desire is wholeheartedly thwarted, will the curse be broken.
